Clear Air Duct & Dryer Vent Cleaning

Been meaning to get the ducts cleaned for a while and finally pulled the trigger. The company was able to get us on the schedule pretty quick which was nice. the team that showed up was professional, covered their shoes, laid stuff down to protect the floors. they went through every vent in the house and spent extra time on the returns which apparently had the most buildup. i watched some of it and yeah there was a lot of dust and debris coming out. they also did our dryer vent while they were there since we bundled it. whole house over in Villa Park feels different now, air just moves better and theres less dust settling on surfaces. pricing was reasonable for everything that was included. no complaints really, just glad its done and off my list

Got our dryer vent cleaned out and the difference was immediate. Before, our dryer was taking two full cycles to dry a normal load of laundry, and the outside of the machine was getting really hot to the touch. The tech pulled out a crazy amount of lint buildup from the vent line. I had no idea how much was packed in there. After the cleaning, one cycle and everything is dry. The dryer runs cooler too which makes me feel a lot better about it from a safety standpoint. They also went through all the air ducts while they were at it. Each vent cover was removed and cleaned individually, and they used a big vacuum system connected to the main trunk line. You could see the dust and debris coming through the clear section of the hose. Pretty satisfying to watch actually. The house just smells fresher now, which is something I wasn't even expecting to notice.
